Antonio "Tony" Zappia (born 13 June 1952) is the Australian Labor Party representative for the electoral division of Makin in north-eastern Adelaide, South Australia in the 2007 federal election. He successfully defeated Liberal representative Bob Day in the 2007 election, claiming the seat of Makin for Labor, one of the wins that took the party from opposition to government.
He has been Mayor of the City of Salisbury since 1997 has run three fitness centres. Zappia has held ten National Championships in powerlifting.[1]
